Food, Glorious food!

We went, we ate, we left happy and full.

Kate here-
Scott and I went for our food tasting at Interlaken last weekend and had a really great time.  The food was beautifully prepared, the presentation was fantastic but most importantly we were so pleased with the taste!  Of everything!
The wines they served for us were complimentary to all the food, however we're not telling you what the food or wine is going to be - something needs to be a surprise.
I will say- in general terms, there will a choice of poultry, beef or fish entrees.  For those of you who prefer veggies, not a problem.  Just shoot me an email or call me and we'll be happy to have a vegetable lovers entree for you.

As for kids, there is a kids meal available it is comprised of the two sides we chose (a fresh vegetable dish and a fingerling potato dish) as well as some sort of variety of chicken fingers and mac-n-cheese.  Mary D - if you want the chickne fingers we can make that happen just for you!
There will be a place on the RSVP if you want to select a kids meal for those under 12, or if you're Mary Disbrow.

And don't forget about the bonfire the night before the wedding!
There will hot cocoa, s'mores, and beer for those interested...

The location is across the street from the Inn itself, down a long path/driveway to where the pond, kyacks and other boats are, the bonfire site AND where the wedding ceremony will be held, sans rain that it.
If it rains there is a back-up plan, there is a very nice room that has a large picture window for the ceremony but hopefully we won't have to use it.
Also- should it rain the night of the bonfire we would move the festivities to the lounge area that is on site just near where the reception will be held.

I suppose that's all for now.
Remember to book your rooms!!
Have a great day - 'til later....
